A luxury travel agency based around the idea that travelling should be about how you want to feel, rather than focusing only on the destination.
I was bought into a newly created design role to assist the in-house art team on a range of marketing projects.

Tasting Notes is a series of gourmet-related travel experiences with first-class chefs for those with a discerning palette.
My role was to create a look for the new itineraries through a series of web banners, illustrated chefs and ‘tasting notes’ for each country to feature on the Black Tomato website.

The Black Tomato website is an abundance of travel experiences, ideas, information and inspiration that is continuously updated. I redesigned a key template – the landing page for each country.
The challenge was to incorporate an experience type filter and a sub-navigation within the page that displayed hotels and additional information in a modern and user-friendly way. A/B test results showed a 272% increase in generating enquiries.


A gift for the little ones – a custom illustrated canvas bag.
The illustrations were brainstormed, drawn, tweaked and approved before redrawing over again until I was happy with the line-work of each one.


Working with the marketing team, I designed and built responsive email campaigns for the Black Tomato Travel digital newsletter.


An infographic that visually sums up a year for Black Tomato’s and their clients.
The infographic had to look chic and bespoke. I created custom icons and incorporated an elegant colour palette to match the rest of the booklet it was being inserted into.
